The prime function of Meriton Environmental Earthworks is to work with clients to control runoff and rehabilitate areas affected by erosion. The company not only has techniques of reducing existing erosion but also for the prevention of future erosion. Meriton Environmental Earthworks is based in the Riverina near Wagga Wagga.
Ross Meriton originally worked on his fathers farm for a period of time after leaving school, before joining the NSW Soil Conservation Service. It was there he worked for nine years developing his skills in design & construction of erosion control earthworks and water storage systems.
His business has been operating successfully for 15 years, providing cost effective earthworks while also further developing skills and improving techniques in design, construction and management practises for landholder and industry.
Because of climate change Water Harvesting is now a crucial technique for sustainability and profitability for all enterprises relying on water.
